2025 Proposed Water Rate Increase

LMCSD was formed in 1994 and started water deliveries in 1995.  The district is now proposing it's first ever water rate increase.  Due to a long working partnership with the local irrigation company and starting out with a completely new potable water distribution system the district has been able to operate efficiently, helping to keep cost down.  However, the cost of providing water service to our customers has increased exponentially.  Water system infrastructure construction, maintenance, and repair costs have increase even faster than other segments of our economy.

Therefore, current rates will no longer allow the district to continue providing a safe, reliable water supply.

The district will hold a workshop on July 1, 2025, at the Los Molinos Vets Hall, to present more detail on the rate increase.

Also, watch the district's website (losmolinoscsd.com), or contact the office at lmcsd01@gmail.com, for more information.
